Anyone here have experience with new home builders in Ontario?

I’m starting to look into buying a new construction home in Ontario and have been trying to figure out how to compare different builders. There are plenty of reviews online, but I’m more interested in hearing from people who have actually bought a new home.

What should I pay the most attention to when choosing a builder? Things like construction quality, communication, warranty service, timelines, and whether the finished home matched what was promised all seem important.

I’ve seen a few discussions about the best home developers in Ontario, but personal experiences seem much more useful than a list of rankings.
